HAPPY BIRTHDAY LILLY! If you do not know, Lilly, is our pet turtle. Her is a picture of the birthday girl on her fourth birthday.
Lilly is more then just a pet to us so we give her a party to celebrate her birthday. We did have a somewhat birthday party on Saturday because we were not sure if we would really get to celebrate her birthday on the actually day since it was in the middle of the week. On Saturday we cleaned out her tank so that it was all sparkly clean and let her walk around the apartment (minus the kitchen which she still tried to go into).
It is arraigned a little different then what it use to be but Lilly really didn't mind that very much. We also bought her a couple fish and some special turtle food. Lilly got some lettuce on her birthday as part of her special meal.
I just love watching her attack it because she is so delicate about it. I know that she must have felt pretty special because from that Saturday until her birthday she held her head a little higher and acted like she was the queen of the place. Hope also did get a party favor, a new bone (mostly because she needed it and since we were already getting Lilly a few thing for her birthday we figured that it would be alright to do). I'm just happy that she had a great day and enjoyed her birthday. Happy Birthday Again Lilly!

Happy Birthday Lilly!!! Did you get her when she was a baby? Maybe someday she will have a friend, if I get a pet turtle too!!!
Lilly says, "Thanks for the birthday wishs!" We didn't get her when she was a baby. If we had gotten her when she was a baby she would be really small, like quarter size (and it is againts the law to sell them that small).
