New Home, Mostly Cleaning

Okay, this is the very first time that I have been able to be on a computer since we moved. I feel so out of the lop with friends and family. We still have no Internet in our apartment so this is like my only chance for awhile again. The drive up was fine and we made it with no problems but we really couldn't see anything. I packed the car really good and my dad was totally impressed with my skill. Let me tell you that made my day to hear that from my dad because he is the best at packing. My dad also had to take pictures of the car while we were packing it and a few of me in he car with everything. I will have to show you the pictures when I get them. When we got to the apartment we had so much paper work to sign that I couldn't believe it and I really didn't think that it would take us as long as it did but at least that is finished with. We also had to get our utility set up for us before they let us move into the apartment and that was a mess and took a lot of time too. Finally, we were able to move in to the apartment and it is pretty nice. It sits in the shade quite a bit from what I have notice. So all week I have been just cleaning everything!!! I'm not kidding the apartment just wreaked of cigarette smoke. That is why I have only been cleaning it and that included washing the inside of the kitchen cabinets, cleaning the carpet (3 times) and washing down any and all shelves. I even cleaned the heaters inside and out and they were terrible. I know that you will not believe this but we also vacuumed the ceiling. Yes, we are crazy clean freak people but you should have seen all of the spider webs up there. IT WAS GROSS!!! I'm just glad that it is all done with and that I will not have to do that deep of a cleaning again. I'm so tired and sore from the entire thing and am excited for the brake from it too. Now I just have to wait for our things to come from the storage unit when I will have to clean all of that. (Oh joy.)
