Funny Friday!

This weeks funny is in honor of all the walking that Hope, Faith and I have been doing. We go for about one and a half to two hour walks twice each day. Well we did until Faiths surgery. Now we have to wait awhile before we can do that again. But still every time we came home the girls are really tired and take a nap. Well I was sent this funny and it totally made me think of how Hope is after our walks so I decided to share it with you.

Fixed?

Yesterday Faith went to the vet to get fixed. I'm very thankful that we were able to do this sooner than later because if we went with the age the shelter told us we could have had a pregnant puppy by the date they said to fix her. Sorry but I'm not going to deal with that right now. Just so you know Faith is doing fine and is resting a lot; really don't blame her for that. But I did want to tell you that when Michael and I got home from the vet we let Hope say hello to her sister. We then thought it would be fun to be the doggies voices for them as they said their hellos. Michael was Hope's voice and I was Faith's. Somehow the conversation turned funny.

Hope: "HI SISTER!!! Where have you been? I saw you get in the car with Daddy but where did you go?"

Faith: "I thought daddy was taking me to his work where it is fun with all the other dogs and treats but he took me to the vet and then LEFT ME THERE!"

.

Hope: "Oh, I'm so sorry. That was mean of daddy to do. Did the vet hurt you? They always seem to be hurting me when I go."

.

Faith: "No, well, I don't think so. They gave me a shot that put me to sleep and when I woke up my tummy hurt."

.

Hope: "OH, you got fixed!"

.

Faith: "Was I broken?"

.

Hope: "No, you were never broken."

.

Faith: "Well then why did I need to be fix if I wasn't broken?"

.

Hope: "Ummmmm...................Because mommy said so."

Thanks Dear!!! Anyways here are some pictures of Faith with her "cone of shame". Just to warn you but it is really sad to see her in it.Such sad eyes. I know she isn't happy with it on but we can't take it off of her because we don't want her to bother her stitches. She is starting to adjust to the "cone of shame," but she still is having a hard time with some other things. Faith has been bumping into things that she normally doesn't and instead of moving away she is being stubborn and will not move until we come and help. I'm also hand feeding her because it is hard for Faith to get to her bowl. Hopefully this stage wont last to long and nothing will go wrong so we can have life go back to normal.But at least sleeping with it on isn't so much of a problem for her. I'm glad that she at least has that one figured out.

Funny Friday!

WOW! Where did the week go? It just flew by so fast and now it is time again for another funny Friday. Well I figure this funny Friday should be in honor of our newest family member Faith. So here it is funny but cute too.(These are not Faith's feet. My father sent me a funny/cute e-mail and this was in it.)
